Is the MDCAT 2027 date announced yet? I keep seeing dates.

Every week some page shows a different MDCAT 2027 date. One says August, one says the test will be right after FSc results. Has PM&DC actually announced anything?

No. PM&DC has announced no 2027 date, no registration window, no fee and no syllabus change. Its published notices stop at the 2026 cycle.

What is actually on the record:

    • In April 2026 the federal health minister told the Senate health committee that the test would be held within about a week of the FSc results from 2027 onward, to end the post-boards cram model. That is a statement of intent, and PM&DC has not turned it into a date.
    • The format is the confirmed part: 180 questions in 180 minutes, Biology 81, Chemistry 45, Physics 36, English 9 and Logical Reasoning 9, one mark each, no negative marking. PM&DC has announced no change for 2027.
    • The syllabus in force is the Uniform Curriculum MDCAT 2025 Final, which PM&DC said would apply to 2026. No 2027 replacement has been published.
    • The 2026 test was held on 20 September, after being moved from 16 August on 6 August, so the one lesson from a single cycle is that the date can move in either direction.

Treat every page naming a 2027 date as unconfirmed unless it links a PM&DC notice. A coaching page that says "August 2027" is estimating, and a page that says "confirmed" is guessing with confidence.

The MDCAT 2027 page carries what is confirmed and what is not, the registration page keeps the 2026 window as the pattern, and the repeater timeline shows what an earlier test does to a repeat year.
