The archive holds 25 papers for this board and 4,389 positions in total. Every row serves the number of positions the paper was recovered with; none is partial.

What makes the KMU paper different

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa archive is three archives. ETEA ran the paper from 2005 to 2019, and the count climbs: 161 in 2005, 170 in 2006, 198 in 2008, then 200 in every paper from 2009 to 2019.

From 2020 to 2023 the province also used the KMU Centralized Admission Test, a 100-question paper on the same 210-minute clock. 2023 holds two of them, Part 1 and Part 2.

The KPK MDCAT appears from 2022. It was 200 questions until 2024; the 2025 and 2026 papers are 180 questions in 180 minutes.

No KMU row is partial. Every paper serves the number of positions it was recovered with, and the table states that count rather than a coverage score.

Three real questions from the 2026 paper

The answer key and the explanation a student sees after answering.

  1. Question 1, English, Formal and Lexical Aspect of Language, KMU 2026
I like cake, however, my friend likes chocolate. The transitional device is used for:
    • Exception
    • Sequence
    • Addition
    • Contrast (correct answer)

    Correct answer: D

The conjunctive adverb 'however' serves as an adversative transitional device used to introduce a contrast between two independent clauses.
  2. Question 2, Biology, Inheritance, KMU 2026
Identify the X-linked dominant disorder from the following:
    • Haemophilia
    • Colour blindness
    • Baldness
    • Hypophosphatemic rickets (correct answer)

    Correct answer: D

Hypophosphatemic rickets follows an X-linked dominant inheritance pattern, whereas hemophilia and color blindness are X-linked recessive, and male pattern baldness is sex-influenced.
  3. Question 3, Chemistry, Chemistry of Hydrocarbons, KMU 2026
When chlorine is present in excess during chlorination of methane, the major product is:
    • Carbon tetrachloride (correct answer)
    • Chloroform
    • Methyl chloride
    • Methylene chloride

    Correct answer: A

Excess chlorine drives the photochemical free-radical substitution of methane to exhaustive completion, replacing all four hydrogen atoms to yield carbon tetrachloride (CCl4CCl_4) as the major product.

KMU questions

Why does the KPK archive mix ETEA, CAT and MDCAT papers?

Because the province changed the body that ran the test. ETEA ran it from 2005 to 2019, the KMU Centralized Admission Test ran from 2020 to 2023, and the KPK MDCAT appears from 2022. The archive keeps all three.

How many KMU papers are there?

25 papers from 2005 to 2026, 4,389 positions in total. Nothing in the archive is partial.

How long is the KPK MDCAT?

The 2025 and 2026 papers are 180 questions in 180 minutes. The KPK MDCAT papers for 2022 to 2024 are 200 questions on a 210-minute clock, and the Centralized Admission Test papers are 100 questions on the same clock.

Practise the KMU papers in the app.

Every 2026 paper is free, in timed or tutor mode, with answers and worked explanations. A free paper does not use your 500 practice attempts. Papers before 2026 are included in the MDCAT Pass.
