UHS order of merit is due 13 November. What do I check on it?
Punjab MBBS applicants are waiting on the 13 November order of merit. What exactly goes on that list, and what do I do if my FSc or Matric marks are wrong?

The order of merit ranks every applicant by aggregate, before any college is named. It is not a selection list. Its job is to let you check that the university has read your marks correctly, because the college lists that follow are built on it.
Read four things against your own record:
- Matric, FSc and MDCAT marks, and the aggregate they produce. Merit is MDCAT 50%, FSc 40%, Matric 10%.
- The quota you are listed under. Open merit, self-finance, disability, overseas and the reserved categories each have their own pool and their own closing figure.
- Your domicile district, which decides which pool you compete in for the reserved seats.
- The date and number in the title. UHS issues provisional then final merit, then several selection and upgradation lists. Reading the wrong one is the commonest mistake.
If a mark is wrong, use the objection or correction route in the university's own notice, inside its window. Do not rely on a phone call or a WhatsApp message to a number you found in a group.
The schedule after the order of merit, as published: final merit order on 16 November and the first college-wise selection list on 17 November. Punjab also runs private-sector MBBS on a separate timetable, with provisional merit on 12 November. The merit list page keeps both, and the aggregate guide shows the arithmetic and the tie-breakers.
