When does the 2026-27 merit list actually come out?
I sat MDCAT on 20 September and I keep seeing different dates. JSMU has something up, Punjab says November, NUMS says December. Which one is my merit list and when is it real?

There is no single national merit list. Each admitting body runs its own cycle for the candidates in its area, and the date you are waiting for is the one belonging to the body you applied to.
Where it stood on 6 November 2026:
- JSMU (Sindh, Karachi district): provisional merit list published 2 November; claims closed on 4 November.
- UHS (Punjab public MBBS): applications closed 30 October. Provincial order of merit due 13 November, final merit order 16 November, first college-wise selection list 17 November.
- KMU (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa): applications closed 21 October. Final merit list due 12 November.
- NUMS (armed forces colleges): open-merit registration closes 11 November, late fee to 25 November. Provisional merit list 10 December.
- SZABMU (Islamabad private colleges): applications 4 to 27 November, provisional merit 1 December.
Two traps in the dates circulating online. First, "2026 merit list" often means the finished 2025-26 list, which belongs to last year's students. Second, a provisional list is not an offer, and a selection list is not a seat until the fee is paid inside the deadline.
The merit list page carries the live status for every body, each with the date it was checked and a link to the portal that decides it. Start there rather than at a screenshot, and the admissions guide has the documents each stage asks for.
