JSMU published the Karachi district provisional merit list. Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa follow within days, NUMS opens late admission, and AJK is open. One table.
The status on 5 November 2026
No province has completed its merit process. One admitting body has published a provisional list.
| Admitting body | Where it stands | Next published date |
|---|---|---|
| JSMU (Karachi district) | Provisional merit list published 2 November; claims closed 4 November | Final list per JSMU notice |
| UHS (Punjab public MBBS) | Applications closed 30 October | Provincial merit 13 November, first selection list 17 November |
| UHS (Punjab private MBBS) | Applications close 6 November | Provisional merit 12 November |
| LUMHS (Bilawal MC, LIMHS Thatta) | Applications open 2 to 9 November | After the window |
The one date people misread
NUMS publishes a provisional merit list on 10 December, and the APP announcement of 1 November confirms it. NUMS also says a first MBBS selection list follows on 17 December. A provisional list is not an offer.
Punjab issues two schedules
UHS runs public-sector MBBS and private-sector MBBS on separate timetables, and the private one closes six days after the public one. A candidate applying to both needs both dates. The merit list tracker keeps them apart, and the admissions guide has the documents each stage asks for.
What to check when your list appears
- Your SSC, HSSC and MDCAT marks as recorded, and the resulting aggregate.
- The quota against your name.
- Every college you listed, in the order you listed it.
- The date and the list number in the title of the PDF. Three lists with the same college name and different dates are normal.
