The provisional list is the first checkpoint
Khyber Medical University's published 2026-27 schedule puts the provisional merit list on 30 October 2026. Objections were scheduled for 1 to 3 November. The final merit list is due 12 November, followed by category placement on 16 to 21 November.
The provisional list is not the final allocation. It is the point where a candidate can see whether the aggregate, quota and programme are recorded correctly before the final list is locked.
What to check
- Your name and CNIC or B-Form number.
- Your SSC, HSSC and MDCAT marks, and the resulting aggregate. The formula is SSC 10%, HSSC 40%, MDCAT 50%.
- The quota you are being considered under: open merit, self finance, reciprocal, disabled, backward, newly merged districts, minorities, or another category listed by KMU.
- The programme and college preferences recorded against your application.
If a number is wrong, use the objection route the university published. Do not rely on a screenshot from a group chat, and do not send documents to an unofficial number.
If you missed the objection window
The published objection window was 1 to 3 November. If you believe a recorded mark is wrong and the window has closed, contact KMU admissions through the portal or the official admissions office and ask what correction route is still open. The final list date does not automatically reopen objections.
Other provinces are on separate schedules
KMU runs the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa list. UHS, the Sindh admitting universities, BUMHS, SZABMU and NUMS publish their own merit lists and counseling schedules. A KMU date is not a Punjab, Sindh or federal date. The admissions guide keeps the province-by-province links.
What happens after 12 November
Category placement runs from 16 to 21 November on the published schedule. Keep your original documents ready: CNIC or B-Form, domicile, PRC where applicable, academic certificates, medical fitness certificate and photographs. A merit list position is not an admission until the college completes document verification and fee payment.
