What the merit trend shows

The fact sheet records two closing aggregates for the BDS self-finance quota: 77.2% in 2024 and 80.4% in 2025.

SZABMU sets the standard aggregate for BDS admission at 50% MDCAT, 40% HSSC and 10% SSC 10. The MDCAT paper itself moved from 210 marks to 200 marks and then to 180 marks over recent years. An aggregate is not the same as a raw score.

Treat the two recorded figures as one direction of travel. They show the self-finance cut-off, not the open-merit cut-off, and each year uses a different admission cycle. The fact sheet holds these two years for the college, so use the official SZABMU admission rules for the current line 10.
