What the merit trend shows
The MBBS self-finance closing aggregate moved from 81.10% in 2022 to 82.65% in 2023. It reached 83.60% in 2024 and 86.70% in 2025. The MBBS series gained about five points across the four years.
The BDS closing aggregate moved from 78.60% in 2022 to 80.00% in 2023. It stood at 80.80% in 2024 and 80.80% in 2025.
UHS builds the aggregate from three parts: 10% SSC, 40% HSSC and 50% MDCAT. 37 MDCAT total marks moved from 210 to 200 to 180 across recent sessions. 7 One percentage is therefore not the same raw score in every row.
