What the merit trend shows

The MBBS self-finance closing aggregate moved from 82.40% in 2024 to 85.50% in 2025. The BDS closing aggregate for 2025 stands at 82.00%. The MBBS figure sits about three points above the 2024 figure. Our directory holds one BDS value, for 2025.

UHS builds the aggregate from three parts: 10% SSC, 40% HSSC and 50% MDCAT. 37 The MBBS route asks for at least 55% in MDCAT and the BDS route for at least 50%. 3

MDCAT total marks moved from 210 to 200 to 180 across recent sessions, so one percentage is not the same raw score in every row. The UHS merit annexure works one example on a 200-mark scale and a second on a 180-mark scale. 7
