The Supreme Court of Pakistan has directed PMC to hold a transparent fresh MDCAT, citing the Islamabad High Court's findings on the 2022 paper leak.

Supreme Court order for fresh MDCAT

The Supreme Court of Pakistan, headed by the then Chief Justice of Pakistan, directed the Pakistan Medical Commission in December 2022 to hold a transparent fresh MDCAT, citing the Islamabad High Court's earlier findings on the October 2022 paper-leak evidence.

The order was the trigger for the province-by-province re-conduct of the 2022 cycle, which was completed in late 2022 and early 2023.
