PM&DC on 30 December 2024 conducted a second retake wave for candidates affected by the irregularity claims during the 22 September 2024 MDCAT cycle. The retake was held at 27 centres across Pakistan. The first retake wave had been conducted on 8 December 2024.

Combined pass rates

PM&DC confirmed that the combined pass rate for the original 22 September 2024 test and both retake windows is consistent with the pass rate seen in the 2023 cycle, indicating that the irregularity claims did not materially affect the overall outcome.

What affected candidates should do

Check the PM&DC portal for the combined merit list, which includes candidates from all three sittings.
The combined merit list is the authoritative document for 2024-25 admissions; the provincial admitting universities (UHS, KMU, DUHS, etc.) will publish their lists against the combined list.
