UCAT is a separate test. For the national MDCAT route, the MDCAT is still required, including at AKU. PMDC’s overseas and foreign-seat route accepts SAT-II or a foreign MCAT/UCAT. The add-on is PKR 5,000 and is only for students who already hold the pass. A new student can take the MDCAT + UCAT bundle for PKR 15,000.

UCAT is a separate test. The MDCAT is still required for admission to medical colleges in Pakistan, including AKU. AKU has said it is likely to use the UCAT from the 2027 admission cycle and has not confirmed the details. Check the AKU website before you plan.
