Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar, announced MDCAT 2025 results on 27 October 2025. Approximately 53% of the KPK-domiciled candidates who sat the test on 26 October 2025 qualified for MBBS admissions, with a separate threshold for BDS admissions.

What this means for KPK admissions

• The KPK merit list is compiled by KMU using the standard Matric 10% + Inter 40% + MDCAT 50% formula.
• Public medical college seats are allocated first to the open-merit pool, then to quota seats (merged districts, female, rural, disabled, minorities).
• 2026 cycle: Gomal Medical College seats raised from 100 to 150 by PM&DC, adding 50 seats to the KPK public pool.
