Features and limits

What the product does, and where it stops.

Ten capabilities, each with its limit. Counts are checked against the live bank. The checked date is on the methodology page.

Practice and concepts

The bank, the CRUX shortlist and the past papers. Each one has a stated limit.

100,000+ MCQs

83,000+ active today

The bank covers the five MDCAT subjects in the exam split: 81 Biology, 45 Chemistry, 36 Physics, 9 English, 9 Logical Reasoning. Every active question has one key and a worked explanation.

  • Filter by subject, chapter and difficulty
  • Filter by state: unseen, correct, incorrect or flagged
  • Read the explanation after every attempt

Limit: 467 active questions have no topic yet, so a topic filter cannot file them. Every active question has a chapter.

Open practice

CRUX, 3,700+ high-yield questions

A shortlist drawn from the bank

CRUX ranks active questions by topic weight, past-paper frequency, core-concept value and quality. Each selected item carries a longer explanation.

  • 3,707 questions in the set
  • Subject quotas follow the exam split
  • Coverage floors protect low-volume chapters

Limit: CRUX is a study priority, not a prediction. A ranked question is not more likely to appear in your paper.

Open CRUX

Past papers, in paper order

Every 2026 paper is free

6 boards: UHS, DUHS, KMU, NUMS, Balochistan, Federal. A 2026 paper runs in timed or tutor mode, with answers and explanations, and does not use your 500 free attempts. The pre-2026 archive is on the pass.

  • Original question order
  • Timed or tutor mode
  • Explanations on every paper
  • Pre-2026 archive on the pass

Limit: Some older papers are partial. The paper row shows how many questions we recovered.

Learning and retention

A tutor, a review schedule and chapter notes. The explanation comes with the attempt.

SAGE, the study companion

Chapter-level citations when retrieval finds a source

SAGE explains a concept, works through a calculation, compares two processes and quizzes you. It uses the textbook corpus when it finds a passage and answers from model knowledge when it does not.

  • 10 questions a day on a free account
  • 20 questions an hour on the pass
  • A citation names board, subject, grade and chapter

Limit: Citations stop at chapter level. There are no page numbers, and SAGE can be wrong on a high-stakes detail.

Flashcards with FSRS-5

A review date on every card

The deck holds 14,062 cards. FSRS-5 schedules the next review from whether you remembered the last one. A correct answer rates Good and a wrong answer rates Again.

  • Reviews target 90% retention
  • Intervals cap at 365 days
  • The deck samples the bank and the notes

Limit: A schedule is not a guarantee of recall. A card you cannot answer still needs the note or the textbook.

Chapter notes and cheat sheets

80 of 89 chapters have notes

Each note follows the chapter, with definitions, formulas in KaTeX, high-yield tables and a rapid review section. The notes use the same taxonomy as practice.

  • Formulas render with KaTeX
  • High-yield tables and definitions
  • Linked to the chapter in practice

Limit: 9 chapters have no note yet. The chapter page says so instead of showing an empty page.

Exam simulation and planning

The exam clock and a schedule that reaches the exam. Neither one predicts your result.

Full-length mocks

180 questions in 180 minutes

A mock follows the MDCAT split: 81 Biology, 45 Chemistry, 36 Physics, 9 English, 9 Logical Reasoning. The report breaks the result down by subject and shows where the marks went.

  • One clock for the whole paper
  • Subject breakdown and score report
  • Review every answer after submit

Limit: A mock score is a practice result. It is not a forecast of your final score or a predicted admission rank.

Study plan

A day-by-day schedule to the exam

The plan reads the exam date configured for the app, then asks how many days a week and how many hours a day you can study. It splits the remaining time into learn, revise and papers.

  • Learn 60%, revise 20%, papers 20%
  • A weekly test on Friday
  • Rest days and catch-up built in

Limit: The plan is a schedule, not a promise. PMDC has not announced the 2027 date; July 2027 is a planning assumption.

Decisions and UCAT

The aggregate maths and the second test. Both depend on a rule you should check at source.

Merit calculator

The 10/40/50 aggregate

The calculator applies the PMDC aggregate: Matric 10%, FSc 40% and MDCAT 50%. It can also work backwards from a target aggregate to the MDCAT marks you need.

  • PMDC 10/40/50 weights
  • Reverse target calculation
  • Worked breakdown of each input

Limit: A university can change its weights or add a test. Check the current prospectus before you rely on a number.

UCAT track

12,087 practice items

Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning and Situational Judgement, with the UCAT scale of 300 to 900 per cognitive subtest and bands 1 to 4 for SJT.

  • Full mocks and section practice
  • Answers and explanations
  • PKR 5,000 add-on for a pass holder

Limit: UCAT is an additional test. For the national MDCAT route, PMDC requires the MDCAT, including at AKU. PMDC’s overseas and foreign-seat route accepts SAT-II or a foreign MCAT/UCAT.

Open the UCAT track

One payment of PKR 10,000 for the MDCAT Pass.

500 free practice attempts first. Each one includes a worked explanation.
